Reiser til Sverige

As I promized you, I'm going to write in English, articles about this semester.

Because of the winter, I haven't traveled before the begining of March.
Justin, one of my friend from Toulouse joined me in Norway. We decided to visit one of our common friend (from Toulouse as well) who is studying such us to Malmö.


The better way from Kristiansand to go there, is to take the ferry from Denmark. We took that (not to buy alcool such everybody) and arrived to Hirtshals. Little town close to the extreme cap of Denmark. As you can see, this town has an economy mostly based on commercial trades with Norway.


From here, we have taken a "regional tog" (train) to go to Hjörring. All of our "stop over" (correspondances) were perfects, then we took a direct train to the direction of Copenhagen.
This was a very long travel, 6h into train. Moreover, this was the period of "vinterferie", we hadn't reserved any sits (because we got an interail pass) and due to move out (from our sit) at almost each train stop. At one moment we were almost "thrown away" because of a "summer camp" with plenty children has invaded the car (le wagon). This travel has been exausted, but also weird. We thought we're almost arrived when we came to Copenhagen. This was not exacly right, we've taken the train to go to Malmö directly after purchase the ticket but we were not really lucky. Actually this train should spend only 28 minutes to drive people from Copenhagen to Malmö. To us it took one hour and a quarter. We were stopped into a tunnel, everything was written in Swedish, I understood only that was a problem of "signal stop". Everybody had any reactions, listening to music with their Iphone. In France, when a train is stopped with no visibly reasons, people are getting mad, pissed off, against the train company. It was an entire illustration of the legendar Scandinavian peace of mind. Furthermore, I tried to call Deborah (my friend) that we were arriving to Malmö. But she gave me a wrong number by mistakes without the right international phonecode. Fortunatly she was waiting for us to the train station.

After a long night, we visited Malmö,Deborah's college and a very nice place (and our favorite to Justin and me), the ecologic district where is located the famous "turning torso tower".


Main building of Malmö and by the way the famous one. Surrounding this tower, there is a "sustainable district" where Ecology means respect nature with materials to build and social mixity to keep peaceful the society. So typically Scandinavian.



We enjoyed this moment close to the Baltic sea into a kind of pub. Swedish tradition is to share something warm with friend at the end of the afternoon. We were with Pauline (an other French girl from our university) and her Swedish friend. It was more a kind of Starbuck than a pub, but they called it so.

We have also visited other things to Malmö days after. Justin and me are fan of soccer. So we decided to visit where Zlatan Ibrahimovic played his first game.


The day before our way back, we shared last moments; respecting the Swedish tradition in the Historical Malmö.


We can admire also several beautiful monuments, as witness the fact that Malmö has a certain History due to the fact of proximity with Copenhaguen.

The way back has been so long, I missed the Norwegian language exam but I have any regrets because this was a very nice trip. I thank so much Deborah to your hospitality.
